Kids Place playhouses are simple to assemble

A Kids Place cardboard playhouse has very easy to follow instructions for assembly and dismantling in just minutes. (Even if you suffer from flat pack furniture anxiety you will find this a breeze - and we promise there won't be any left over parts at the bottom of the box)!

Follow these simple steps and it will be up in no time.  Our easy to follow assembly video is further down this page.

  1. Unpack the playhouse pieces from the storage box. There should be three pieces - roof and two side/end panels. (Keep the storage box for when you want to pack it away).

  2. Gently bend all tabs and press out perforated pieces i.e. slots, roof, windows and door.

  3. Stand one side/end panel up, with peaks at top. Fold flaps at bottom of the playhouse inwards.

  4. Stand other side/end panel up, with peaks at top. Fold flaps at bottom of the playhouse inwards.

  5. Where the two panels are to join, bend both end tab pieces 90 degrees inwards. (See picture 1).

  6. Join the two side/end panels together by inserting tabs into slots (three down each side, see pictures 2 and 3). The walls should now be standing independently.

1.                                      2.

3.                                         4.

7. Fold roof along other fold line.

8. Place the roof on top of the walls.

9. Insert tabs into the slots to connect the roof to the walls. Come up through the bottom slot first and down through the top one. (See picture 4 above).

All done! Let the playing begin.

We recommend reinforcing the folds in the cardboard with tape  (i.e. door and window hinges) to sustain the lifetime of the Kids Place cardboard playhouse.

This product is made from cardboard and designed for indoor use or for use on a dry surface (e.g. decking ). Do not leave in damp or wet conditions, as this will cause deterioration. I.e. It won't cope with being left out in the rain!

Kids Place Playhouses have been designed by caring parents in accordance with Standards NZS5820:1982 Specification for the Safety of Toys.
